SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is a new functionality of the SAP system for the administration of goods in particular bins inside the latest version of S/4 HANA.
Any consultant or practitioner in logistics should be familiar with or learn this functionality.
SAP S/4 HANA EWM Course Overview
SAP EWM delivers the necessary capability for the placement in warehouses (Putaway processes) and removal from them (Stock Removal processes) at the same time that it permits subdividing SAP Inventory Management Storage Locations into various particular bins.
Moreover, it offers several integration capabilities with other Logistics modules or related modules (SAP PP, SAP SD, SAP QM, etc.).
