\mathopen - forces the argument to be treated in the 'opening' class.

DESCRIPTION

\mathopen command is used to force the argument to be treated in the 'opening' class.

EXAMPLE

1. a + \lt b\gt + c

   $ a + \lt b\gt + c $

2. a + \mathopen\lt b\mathclose\gt + c

   $ a + \mathopen\lt b\mathclose\gt + c $
