MySQL - COALESCE() 函数



有时表中的记录可能缺少用户无法用零填充的数据。在这种情况下,MySQL 允许用户用 NULL 值填充该记录。

NULL 值只不过是数据库表中的一个占位符,用于表示缺少的值或数据不可用以插入。

MySQL COALESCE() 函数

MySQL 的 **COALESCE()** 函数返回表达式列表中的第一个非 NULL 值。它接受多个表达式作为参数,并返回第一个不为 NULL 的表达式的值。如果所有表达式都为 NULL,则返回 NULL。

当所有参数都不为 NULL 时,COALESCE() 函数会根据其数据类型的优先级评估值。例如,在 COALESCE() 函数中,整数始终优先于字符表达式,从而导致整数作为输出。

当 COALESCE() 函数用于具有表示需要比较的字段名的参数的 MySQL 表时,该函数会比较这些列中的对应值,并检索第一个不为 NULL 的值。

语法

以下是 **COALESCE()** 函数的基本语法:

SELECT COALESCE (expression_1, expression_2, ..., expression_n) 
FROM table_name;
